Excuse the design wonkery, but msnbc.com's new story pages are amazingly ambitious.

Srsly... I dig the experiments they're trying too. The scroll bar directory, the scroll up "shelf" etc. Thx for the pointer.

They're site looks weird, I'm not loving the design they should go back to the old design.

I think they are horrible. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> Too large, too much clutter, having to hit "show more text" is just terrible, terrible, terrible (did I say terrible?) design.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Just give me the story, please.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> But no worries, I use <a href="http://lab.arc90.com/experiments/readability/" target="_blank">this</a> to fix it all and repair most defective websites like this.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Really shows the disconnect between the desires of designers and the needs of users.<br /><br /> <br /><br />
