Twitter links = content abstraction. Maybe the strongest case for the continued need of services like Twitter. Abstraction is what drives the software equivalent of Moore's Law. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> Unfortunately, it's zero-revenue infrastructure! D'oh!

i thought i heard people calling it the 'conversational RSS' awhile back. Can't remember where, but that's kind of how I view it. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> i never really got the point of all the back and forth chatter. that just becomes frustrating....but for sharing non-sense, which we all seem to live on, it's nearly perfect.

I remember when I first linked my blog to Twitter using Twitterfeed, and all my followers told me to stop it. They already subscribed to my blog in RSS. But Twitter drives far more traffic to me than RSS. So go figure.
