BitchPleeze

Interestingly NBC purchased BitchPleeze.com in advance of this sketch. (Also, favorite sketch in weeks! Perfectly acted by Michaela.)

Hmm... What's with the register.com frame at the bottom? Almost looks like it isn't NBC that did this (based on that, anyway). The registrar info is a little fishy looking as well, but I'm probably looking into this more than I need to.

one other example:

http://hornymanatee.com/

Conan mentioned it on the show, so NBC had to buy it. They're scared of someone squatting it and then having it redirect to pr0n.

Easily the best thing on SNL in a long time. What's so cool about that bit is that it's really hard to pin down why it's so funny: the girl is hard to hear, she flubs the lines, she laughs at her own jokes. Plus, it's really hard to imitate what she's doing, which is usually antithetical to what's funny about most SNL bits. So part of what's so awesome about this bit is that it is intriguing.

Wait, but this was the second Angie Tempura sketch. Here's the first one:

If that don't work, click over to http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/update-bitch-pleeze/1073101/

So...it WASN'T squatted back in Feb.?

That's what I was wondering - is the website new from this ep or from Feb? Either way the best part is that bitchpleeze.com doesn't redirect but just takes you to a copy of SNL's NBC page. It's funny to see that contrasted with the URL. (Also, next week is Best of Amy Poehler, whee!)

Agreed re: Michaela - she's making a real name for herself. Both she and Abby have gotten better shots in a few short months than Casey has in now over a year. But also I'm sensing some Wiig fatigue...they rely too heavily on her at their peril, I think.

Agreed, Sklar. Wiig over-reliance leads to Wiig overexposure leads to blowback (the dark side). Michaela is firing on all cylanders, landing squarely on her feet. Is it just me or is this season -- last week in particular -- astonishingly tight? Can you imagine that not so long ago the question "Is this the end of SNL?" once again reared its head?
