Hunch

Caterina Fake's new startup: Hunch. Via her blog post: "Hunch is a decision-making site, customized for you. Which means Hunch gets to know you, then asks you 10 questions about a topic (usually fewer!), and provides a result -- a Hunch, if you will. It gives you results it wouldn't give other people."

Recommendation engine that I've wanted for ever and ever. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> If she can get this to scale, it will have MASSIVE value. Every single dating/shopping/content site will license it for use on their site.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The question is whether or not something like wikipedia (a purely information gathering endeavor) could ever happen again - especially for a for-profit company. <br /><br />
