Brilliant. I spent a year and a half in a Protestant Seminary and--let me tell you--that description is spot on.

Despite the unfortunate name ("One Punk Under God"), I found Sundance chanel's miniseries on Jay Baker a few years back incredibly fascinating. You see him in conflict over supporting gay marriage as it puts his parish funding in jepopardy. He and his wife have tattoos and lived in hipster ATL before moving to Brooklyn. In one episode he walks through the ruins of the theme park his father built. Up until then I thought "hipster christians" were the sort who wear hemp necklaces, listen to Ziggy Marley, and live mainly in southern college towns

I agree with everything but the last 2 paragraphs.

And given I like approx 6 of the listed authors, this article has just suggested some more great reading for me.
