It's hard to tell from this clip, but it sadly doesn't look very good at this point.<br /><br />

I don't think this clip is the best representation of the film. It served a purpose -- you can't tell stories of hideous men without including That Guy -- and in a way that's exactly what's wrong with it. It's pat, it's been said before, and that's not what one expects when David Foster Wallace is the source. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> Anyway, I though the film was an exceptional first feature, especially considering the subject matter (a work that many thought wasn't adaptable) and the filmmaker (an actor that Ill admit I pretty much considered a light item until seeing the film).
