this disappointed me, but i really wasn't surprised. From what i've heard, Duncan was hugely frustrated by the limited roles for women in Hollywood. This could have been a great opportunity for an up-and-coming female writer/director. But who knows, maybe someone like Lynne Ramsey will direct

Well, she wasn't alone in her frustration. Too bad the VF story is so slanted towards the mythic romance.

I agree with Joanne. <br /><br /> Hopefully, Lion Films will solicit a bunch of screenplays (one is already written) to see which one is best!<br /><br /> That's the way to go, here. Make it a contest.<br /><br />
