I've never met Denton, but to me he seems like the ultimate pessimist. He didn't sell Gawker during the froth, and he'll be damned if his little cashflow machine won't help continue paying his bills and making micro celebs (and making freelance writers have things to write about in NY Mag.)

I got so damn excited when I read this but then I realized its a different Owen. I guess Ill just keep submitting pieces to io9 and hope for the best. Cross your fingers for me kids.
