V?

Barring the time he pronounced Castro dead, this is probably the first time Perez Hilton gets a link here: V remake in the works? If so, I'm fucking pumped.

Think they'll just CGI all that paprika? (Jesus McFuck, I can't believe I remember that.)

Another remake? Why not just watch the original again?

Because I'm still scared of that lizard baby birth!

(I was in something like 5th grade when the show originally aired. I remember trying to set the VCR to tape V, because I had a band recital the night of the lizard baby birth. So I ended up watching it late at night when I got home. At it scarred me!)

When I was a kid, I read the fucking books. The cheesy "inspired by the original series" mass paperbacks.

Jane Badler FTW.

This would be easy to follow up on, since all of the original actors should be free.

A smart remake of V could be very good, but I'm afraid we'll just thinly-veiled "Republicans as Nazis" references and heavy-handed speeches about how WE'RE the insurgents now.
