Sling

I have a Slingbox that I never use (mostly because it's still not available on the iPhone), but this looks interesting enough to maybe plug it back in: Sling.com [beta], which allows one to view and edit video from your DVR through a browser. [via]

The iPhone app has been ready forever (they had a beta for jailbroken 1.x iPhones), but they haven't been approved as a developer by Apple yet. I'm sure this is because AT&T already has a streaming TV service and wants to do their own version of that for the iPhone. Hopefully Sling is eventually approved anyway.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> And it may or may not affect you, but regarding the new Sling.com features (they're gonna do clip sharing too), they're all Windows only. Booooo.
