Domain Days

A bunch of random domains that I own, which, when clicked on, redirect back to this site, for now: viewsource.tv, azineaboutyoutube.com, seattlespeak.com, fimicolous.com, ficklecorp.com, remoter.tv, saltychewy.tv, voyeuse.tv, rexsorgatz.com, watchingparis.com, realfakereal.com. It's like a history of forgotten and future projects. Fess up, what are your weird domains?

I own starttherevolutionwithoutme.com (named after the movie). I think I've let all my other weird ones lapse.

I smell meme! Quick name this (domains as a definition of who I am) before Andy gets a hold of it.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> My domains are:<br /><br /> <br /><br /> tvinjapan.com<br /><br /> gavinpurcell.com<br /><br /> internetfunny.com<br /><br /> popbubblepop.com<br /><br /> tvineurope.com<br /><br /> snackrankings.com<br /><br /> bestadever.com<br /><br /> koolate.com<br /><br /> imintoit.com<br /><br /> popubot.com<br /><br /> geekworkout.com<br /><br /> writeonmama.com<br /><br /> <br /><br /> It's interesting to see the things I've actually worked on, the things I've thought about working on, and what I might work on sometime in the future. <br /><br />

Your list is even more fun, because it's like a game to figure out what the hell each one was/is going to be!

I guess when we die, and folks we will, our unused domain names be another sign of a failed life? <br /><br /> 'Domain....name...transfer' is the new 'Rosebud'<br /><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><br />

The first step in ANY business project is to buy a domain name, of course. Therefore I have about 50 forgotten domains from failed attempts. A few: buzzub.com, piku.org, upstairs.org, haroldandkumar2.com (ha!), cheapestbeer.com, hackpackers.com ... I could go on and on.

So many horrible business ideas, so little time:<br /><br /> <br /><br /> FlickrWhore(s).com<br /><br /> Feedcrush.com<br /><br /> Hackalytics.com<br /><br /> BaseballGods.com<br /><br /> 50Sources.com (my version of Brijit.com)<br /><br /> <br /><br /> This is depressing...<br /><br />

Matt, you should set googlezon.net up with a mailserver... I'd use robin@googlezon :)

idea : nerdy charity website - auction off your unused and worthless domain names to help those that need the money.

Olen - I like grumpler.com. What was it going to be?<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Maybe there's something in that - the stories of lost domains. PostSecret for domain names?

Got a bit of a domain registration habit, and I don't even know which ones qualify as weird anymore:<br /><br /> <br /><br /> absono.us (look up absonous)<br /><br /> alienabductions.com<br /><br /> apeshallnot.com<br /><br /> blackmailr.com<br /><br /> blogtwitter.net (registered pre-Twitter)<br /><br /> disemvowelr.com<br /><br /> eequilibrium.com<br /><br /> followeffect.com<br /><br /> furthestfrom.com<br /><br /> irambi.com (seemed clever at the time, don't recall why)<br /><br /> moodping.com<br /><br /> pingosaur.us<br /><br /> scarycheeseburger.com<br /><br /> <br /><br /> ...and that's not even the half of it.
