This puzzles me. What happened to crossovers/mashups/genre-blending? Didn't the sort of eclecticism that was once the domain of hipsters - "Oh I listened to too much thirties jazz yesterday. Today I *need* some postrock - ooh and then Kanye!" - go totally mainstream?
