This is totally the way to make movies now. I haven't actually seen Beowulf yet, but in general I think its approach -- continuing down the path of slavish devotion to pixel-perfect realism -- is the wrong one. Better to go for decoupaged hyper-reality a la 300 or (it appears) Speed Racer. (Yes, decoupaged!)
