Gossip Girl

Interesting little factoids about Gossip Girl: 1) though it currently has a cancellation-inducing ranking of #106 on Nielsen, it rocks the online distribution world as the #1 downloaded show on iTunes; 2) Kristen Bell plays the disembodied voice of gossip girl herself; 3) the show was originally supposed to be a feature film starring Lindsay Lohan; and 4) The New Yorker thinks it's a snotty, worthless show.... but of course they would.

For the record, I've gone from hating to loving to hating to... meh. I have no idea if I like this show.

c'mon- you now you hate it. It is really, really bad. the only good thing about this show are the cool outfits the kids are wearing but that can only get you so far...I say cancel it.

I'm sticking with it until the rogue character has a sudden change of mentality (he falls in love, his dad gets cancer, something like that).

I keep hoping that we'll "meet" Gossip Girl. Now that I know it's Kristin Bell, that seems even less likely.
