Southland Tales
Karina's review of Southland Tales doesn't give one much hope for another surprise cult hit, but I'm still holding strong.

NY Times mostly liked it, although it sounds like the smart money's on the director's cut: <a href="http://movies.nytimes.com/2007/11/14/movies/14sout.html" target="_blank">link to review</a>.

It's so crazy and wrong and nonsensical (the plot and the existence of the film) that I kind of loved it yet I'd be afraid to recommend it to anyone who wasn't resolved to see it already.
