New Release Tuesday

Time for this week's new releases...
DVD: Zodiac and The Host.
Books: Warren Ellis' first novel, Crooked Little Vein.
Music: Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs' The Is Is, Prince's Planet Earth, and Sebodoh's reissue of The Freed Man.

I read the first chapter of Ellis's book, posted on his site, and was kinda disappointed... it read like someone doing a parody of Warren Ellis.

How could you forget The Monster Squad?<br /><br /> Dude, that film led to "nards" being in the lexicon for most of the early 90s...<br /><br /> Plus it has a great depiction of Dracula as a dynamite tossing badass.
