Wall-E
The robot in the trailer to the new Pixar film Wall-E looks suspiciously like the robot in Short Circuit (1986).

He also looks a lot like Nintendo's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Robotic_Operating_Buddy.jpg" target="Robotic Operating Buddy">R.O.B.</a><br /><br /> <br /><br /> I'm sure neither resemblance is lost on the people at Pixar.
