Also: I've had that Twitter box on the right of this site's homepage since last year, and it's increasingly broken because Twitter is having serious performance problems.... I hope they can scale quickly or they are going to suffer the fate of Friendster.

The good news is that they seem to be working post-haste to fix the performance bugs and the guys doing their hosting are really sharp.

We'll look back on March 07 as Twitter's eternal September when all the kids showed up to see what all the hype is about. Also, I blame Kottke for breaking Twitter.

As for suffering the fate of Friendster, MySpace seems to be trucking right along and it's a usability nightmare in addition to being notoriously unreliable.
