Wait, are we saying that Blair Witch was a marketing scheme? If so, for what? Or are we saying it was marketed brilliantly? Likewise are we saying lonelygirl is a marketing scheme? Or are we saying it simply is what it is and is just being marketed brilliantly? I know the jury is still out on what it is marketing if indeed it is marketing something. Just trying to figure out what you're saying.

Her latest video has something that could definitely be a Blair Witch joke in it!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=5Q_y0HdJ4x8

('Is Daniel taking me out into the forrest to kill me?').

Perhaps Bree and the Danielbeast are reading! ;)

Why wouldn't this be promotional? Look at the whole thing with Lost this summer. A girl appeared at the San Diego Comic Convention to denounce the show for, "helping the Hanso Foundation."
With You tube being so heavily watched now, it makes sense.
As for the Lost thing, look up Rachel Blake on You Tube. She has a blog as well.
It's slick, because it makes it very personal.
